Fabrizio Nonis embarks on a journey through the butcher shops of Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, uncovering the true artistry behind these local culinary traditions in the new series “THE BEST BEKER,” premiering on Food Network and Gambero Rosso Channel, and available for streaming on Discovery+.
In each episode, Fabrizio – a butcher, or more precisely a beker (a term from the Veneto/Friulian dialect) and TV host – visits two butcher shops, awarding each one an apron of a different color based on its distinctive qualities: red for tradition, anthracite for innovation, and beige for creativity.
